Warum FlipsiTherm?

Rittal RiTherm, Pfannenberg PSS, Schneider ProClima: all browser tools with account requirements that only recommend their own products. FlipsiTherm is the open alternative, built by a control cabinet practitioner.

Runs on locked company PCs: one file, no setup, no admin
Offline-first: fully functional without internet; online only vetted data is loaded
Open calculation: every number shows formula and standard reference, the reviewer sees everything
84 devices across Rittal, STEGO, Pfannenberg and nVent Hoffman
Normbezogenes Protokoll als druckfertiges PDF
Own company catalogs and customer management: all local, GDPR-friendly

In vier Schritten

Cabinet & installation: dimensions, material, mounting type
Umgebung: drei Temperaturen, Luftfeuchte, EN-Presets

FAQ

No. A single HTML file that runs in any current browser, also on company PCs without admin rights, from USB stick or network drive.

No. Fully functional without internet. With internet, catalogs and languages update, but code is never fetched, only vetted data.

All formulas are openly documented: effective surface via b-factors (IEC TR 60890), enclosure loss Q = k·A·ΔT, dew point per Magnus, heating case against frost and condensation, airflow V = 3.1·Q/ΔT. The methodology is in the repository as a document.

Warum FlipsiTherm?

An honest take against what already exists: the major sizing paths, all tested by myself.

Gegen Hersteller-Tools (Rittal Therm & Co.)

Stark: huge device libraries straight from the vendor catalog, vendor support.

Der Haken: sizing is limited to one vendor's devices; a mixed cabinet from Rittal, STEGO and Pfannenberg cannot be covered properly there.

FlipsiTherm: vendor-neutral across 84 devices, every formula openly visible, and the protocol cites standards instead of marketing.

Against Excel and formula collections

Der Nachbau: many cabinet builders calculate in their own spreadsheets: it works, but every cell is only as good as the person who built it, and the reviewer has to trust.

FlipsiTherm: the same transparency, but with built-in dew point, heating-case and airflow calculations, device data and a print-ready protocol, without maintaining the chain yourself.

Gegen Cloud-Auslegungstools

Der Nachteil: Kundendaten in fremde Systeme, Login-Zwang, oft Abo-Modelle.

FlipsiTherm: one HTML file: runs offline, also on locked company PCs. Own catalogs and customer management stay local.
